Today, Sunday January 27th, 2019, the New England Patriots left Foxboro on their journey to Atlanta, Georgia for Super Bowl week. For the past week, the team has been practicing at home in Foxboro. As the Patriots will be playing in the Mercedes-Benz Stadium, practices during the first week of preparation were led inside the Empower Field House outside of Gillette Stadium. This is unusual for the Patriots, as head coach Bill Belichick almost always leads practices outside.

Inside Gillette Stadium, the Pat
riots organization set up a stage for the rally. Crowds at previous rallies have not been as large in size or amount of attendees. In previous years the event has been held outside of the archway of the Patriot Place Gate. As the Patriots have played in the Super Bowl the past four of five years, the send off rally has become nearly an annual event.
Many people from the organization spoke at the rally, but none made the impression that quarterback Tom Brady made on the crowd of more than 35,000 people who attended. The crowd was electric for the Pro Bowl, greatest-of-all-time quarterback. He led chants of “We’re Still Here” among others, with his thrilling speech. He walked off the stage with promises of one more win on the season, and a mic drop at the end.

The Patriots have now left Boston and arrived in Atlanta. The team took the AirKraft One, Robert Kraft’s own Boeing 767 which features 5 Lombardi trophies on the plane’s fin for each of their titles won. We wish the Patriots luck on their adventure into Atlanta for their upcoming meeting with the Los Angeles Rams next Sunday. The team will be attending media events throughout the week, along with team held practices.
